Information about the Promoters

 

CNTI - Centro Nacional de Tecnologías de Información (Ministerio del Poder Popular para las Telecomunicaciones y la Informática) - CNTI is an institution attached to the Popular Power Ministry for Telecommunications and Information Systems which is aimed at pooling the progress which is being made in the field of information systems in the Governmental sector and Organised Communities, so as to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the State, as well as to boost the development and strengthening of National capabilities in the Information Technologies sector.

 

 

CENDITEL the Nacional Centre for Research and Development in Free Technologies (Ministerio del Poder Popular para las Ciencia y Tecnología), came about as an Initiative to launch the processes necessary for the transition towards the real role which science, technology and innovation must play in order to permit the economic, social and political development of the nation.

 

CENDITEL also seeking to develop into a space for the promotion of discussion, research, development and appropriation of suitable Free Technologies, in accordance with the democratic, participative and protagonistic society expressed in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in all sectors of knowledge and technological innovation. Through this centre, working groups and networks are created at regional, national and international level, integrated by players from the scientific and technological sectors which are involved in carrying out the planned projects, thus constituting the mechanisms necessary to ensure the management and transfer of knowledge. Among these players can be mentioned among others the Research Centres, Groups and Laboratories, Public and Private Enterprises, SMEs, Enterpreneurs.
